Dear Friends, Supporters, and Well-Wishers,
This September has been a month of both challenge and compassion. The heavy downpour that brought much of Kolkata to a standstill, leaving large parts of the city and countless homes waterlogged, reminded us how abruptly nature can test our resilience. Many families saw water seeping into their homes, disrupting daily life and creating distressing health and safety challenges. In such times, our resolve to stand by one another and to share hope becomes even more meaningful.
As the vibrant state of West Bengal embraces the joyous celebration of Durga Puja this October, we at South Point 66 Social Welfare Society join in the festive spirit with hearts full of gratitude and hope. Durga Puja is more than a festival, it is a powerful symbol of victory, compassion, and unity that resonates deeply with our mission of Helping, Healing, and Caring.
We deeply appreciate the steadfast patronage and generous contributions of our donors and supporters that enable us to continue our vital work. Your kindness is the foundation upon which we build brighter futures for those in need. Together, we weave a tapestry of compassion, touching lives and spreading dignity across our communities.
We are proud to have contributed Rs 50,000 to Global Sikhs for the Punjab Flood Relief 2025, standing in solidarity with the affected families and supporting vital humanitarian efforts to help rebuild lives and restore hope."
This season of celebration inspires us to renew our commitment to those we serve—bringing health, hope, and happiness to many more. May the blessings of Maa Durga guide us all in being beacons of light and love.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Let’s continue to nurture hope and spread compassion—one kind act at a time.
Wishing all a joyful and blessed Durga Puja.
With gratitude,
Deepa Roy , President ,
