In 2018, a group of visionary alumni from the 1966 batch of South Point High School came together to form a society that would embody the spirit of selfless giving. United by a shared purpose, they sought to make a profound impact on the lives of those less fortunate.

Partner: Collaborate with NGOs to deliver vital resources, bridging gaps and fostering self-sufficiency.

Support: Provide direct material aid to marginalized communities, demonstrating our commitment to justice and  compassion.

Empower: Educate, train, and mentor individuals to unlock their potential, promoting lasting impact.

Deepa Roy

Member

South Point 66 Alumni 

A dedicated graduate of Calcutta University, Deepa Roy has built a remarkable four-decade career in healthcare and social service, marked by unwavering commitment and seamless transitions across esteemed institutions.

She began her journey in 1975 with DCPL, later transferring to Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra in 2001. Retiring from there in 2013, she continued her passion at All Asia Medical Institute (until 2015) and Purnam Nursing Home (until 2017). Since 2019, Deepa has devoted herself to the Rehabilitation Centres for Children, where she continues to make a profound impact today.

Jayshankar Aiyar

Jay is a proud alumnus of South Point High School (SPHS). He graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1972, and went on to work in several Indian foundries and multinational companies.

After retiring from a multinational firm in 2017, Jay started his own manufacturing unit in Hosur, pioneering the supply of indigenous materials for precision castings. His venture reflects a commitment to self‑reliance, quality, and innovation in Indian manufacturing.

Jayshankar is one of the founder members of SP66SWS and has remained our Treasurer for the group for the last 4 years.
